Information for Sellers
To sell birds at the market, certain rules and laws regarding animal welfare apply. You are expected to comply with these.

- Information for Sellers: As a seller, you are required to provide information about the proper care of birds. Various documents for this purpose are available on www.licg.nl/vogels or www.nbvv.nl/downloads (under animal welfare). We advise you to have this information available for your birds. It is also available at the organization’s and NBVV’s booth.
- Transfer Form: It is recommended to use this form (PDF) when transferring a bird.
For Sellers from Abroad:
Animal Health Regulation:
The birds you are selling must be certified by an authorized body in your country with a health declaration (TRACES). Please inquire about this with the competent authorities in your country. There will be checks on this at the fair.
In certain cases, a transport permit may be required.
In the Netherlands, the NVWA is responsible for overseeing compliance with the rules described here.
Vogelweelde is not liable for damage resulting from failure to comply with the applicable laws and regulations.
Stand Options:
A sales stand is approximately 4 meters long and about 50 cm deep in the inner ring and about 1 meter deep in the outer ring. Rental is per 2 meters. Click here for a floor plan of the hall.
Access Time for Exhibitors:
7:15 AM – 8:45 AM.
Note: Registration for a sales space closes on Thursday, March 20, at 7:00 PM.
Prices:
Inner Ring (bird sales):
2-meter stand including 1 person: €25
4-meter stand including 2 people: €47.50
6-meter stand including 2 people: €62.50
Larger stand options can be found in the webshop.
Extra people can be added to the stand. From 4 meters, there is an option to have a car inside the hall for unloading.
Outer Ring (sales of other items), see reservation policy:
2-meter stand including 1 person: €25
4-meter stand including 2 people: €50
6-meter stand including 2 people: €75

From 4 meters, access with the car is allowed for unloading.
Extra people can be added to the stand.
Reservation Policy (sales of other products):
Vogelweelde has a selective reservation policy for this category. To reserve, send an email with a brief description of the items you will offer + the desired number of meters to markt@vogelweeldemeppel.com. Upon approval, you will receive a code to reserve your spot online.
Association Stands (bird sales and information):

The final layout of the market will be determined no later than one week before the market. You will be notified via email about your exact location. Layouts are based on the order of reservations. We will take your preferences into account as much as possible, but we cannot guarantee them.
Exchange cages:
Exchange cages will be placed in the hall so that you can safely transfer your sold birds to the buyer’s cage from any place in the hall. Please make use of these cages and ensure no birds escape. They will not survive in the hall.
